2014 - 06 - 19 PSC TO MONITOR POLICE CONDUCT DURING EKITI ELECTION
The Police Service Commission would be deploying its staff to monitor Police conducts during the Saturday, 21st June, 2014, gubernatorial election. This is in line with the Commission’s constitutional mandate of ensuring discipline in the Force and also to ensure that Police Officers on election duties adhere strictly to the rules of engagement which is to maintain peace and
security of lives and properties.
The delegation would be coordinated by three of its Commissioners; Hon. Justice Olufunmilola Adekeye, Dame Comfort Obi, and Chief (Dr.) Torngee Tor’ Anyiin based on the three Senatorial Districts.
In case of any incidence of misconduct or act of gallantry by officers of the Nigeria Police Force, members of the public are enjoined to call the following numbers:
i. Ekiti Central Senatorial District – 08065265651
ii. Ekiti North Senatorial District – 08072981057
iii. Ekiti South Senatorial District – 08033010905
